A Truly Unique and honest Self-reflection on ones experiences of Love, Life, Curiousity, Growth and Passion An Astronomically beautiful and astoundingly honest recollection of ones Journey through Love and Life from days gone by, from an Author that has clearly lived a remarkable life, One whom I can only describe as Eccentrically talented in their ability to translate their sometimes embarrassing and unique experiences in a way that is both captivating and inspiring to the general reader…

This book is a great read, often hilarious, sometimes serious and thought provoking. It takes you on a real journey. Set in the 1970s it is a true reflection of those times, the people, places, music and ideas. The book is written in short pacy chapters making it easy to read. I didn’t want to put it down as the characters and story draws you in and you just want to keep reading. In addition, there a is a clever utilisation of some of the literary greats, for example in one chapter she asks if sperm can swim the wrong way and later brings tears to your eyes using classical poetry. The best book I have read in a long time.

You have to read this book, some real laugh out load moments and full of nostalgia being a person who grew up in the 70’s.

A well written and insightful book, looking at Lily’s sojourns navigating family, love and career. Nothing twee about these events, some reading not for the faint hearted but you get to know Lily and want to see where her next voyage of self discovery will take her. All in all a cracking read, highly recommended.
